Geoff Jeal is a young sculptor whose main interest lies in depicting natural forms in a state of flux. Stone is the material of choice for most of his work, a large majority of which is then cast in bronze. This new collection is a series of smaller table-top bronze pieces.
Geoff was born in Somerset in 1984, where he grew up with a deep appreciation of the landscape and rural life. He now lives and works in north Oxfordshire where he developed his skills in bronze casting and finishing at the Lockbund Fine Art Bronze Casting Foundry. Geoff has developed his skills as a sculptor, working on sculptural projects by international sculptors including: Hamish Mackie, Bridget McCrum, Jane Hamilton and David Wynne.
