The Gallery
Porthminster Galleries in St Ives, Cornwall are owned and directed by Dee Bray and David Durham.
Porthminster Gallery at Westcott's Quay, is a converted grade-1 listed former pilchard warehouse. This characterful ground-floor gallery is situated on the quayside. Established in 2012, the gallery hosts changing exhibitions curated by David Durham who selects strong works by leading St Ives and British artists.
The gallery also holds a changing stock of modern 20th century works on paper by post-war St Ives artists, including: Sandra Blow RA; Bryan Pearce; Terry Frost.

David Durham
Director
A former lecturer in Fine Art and Illustration, and a fine art gallery professional, David co-founded the Minster Fine Art gallery in York 2000. David holds an Hon's degree in Graphics and Illustration.
Likes: fossil-hunting, grubbing around at ancient sites in the Med, drinking ouzo and eating mezes on sunny harboursides, fine English cheeses and beers.
Dee Bray
Director
Before co-founding Minster Fine Art, Dee worked as a tutor in Performing Arts and Communication. She has qualifications in Business and Management.
Likes: sherbet and liquorice fountains, sunny days, sail boats on blue seas, Motown music, tap dancing.
Claire Pearce
Gallery Manager
Having gained a degree in Architecture and Design from Cardiff University, Claire started her gallery career in photography galleries in London. She joined the Porthminster Gallery team in 2011.
Likes: live music, shift dresses, sunflowers, walks involving wellies and city explorations.
