- 'New Beginnings: VI' exhibition information
Julia Wilson is a London based painter whose current body of work is in response to Cornish coastal and estuary landscapes. The effect that colour has on the space, the imagination and the senses is central to her work. Julia's practice is to continually work and rework the paint on the canvas, until she is happy that the painting is resolved.
Julia graduated with a BA Hons from Wimbledon School of Art in 1993. Her paintings have been widely exhibited in exhibitions and art fairs in London since 1993, and have been commissioned for architectural projects.

New gallery and website
We are pleased to announce that the Porthminster Gallery is expanding to include a second, larger gallery space at Westcott's Quay, St Ives.
This website is still under construction but will be fully launched on the 29th February 2012.
